What was the moment each of you decided that music was something you were going to pursue?

Jakira: When I played bass for our high school production of Grease, I realised I didn’t wanna do anything else.

Toby: My teachers in high school pushing me to give it a go.

Gus: When I sucked at everything else.

Josh: For me its seeing AJ Hickling the piano busker in Queenstown for the first time.

Emily: Doing BV’s for an arrangement of a local artists music with a choir and string quartet - it blew my mind.

If your music was a flavour, what would you describe it as?

EAB: Mixed-berry gelato in a waffle cone.

How do you cope with challenging moments or days?

EAB: Our current coping mechanism is spending far too much time and money at Beam Me Up Bagels.

Any funny memories to share from recording or gigs?

EAB: Our favourite core memory as a band was playing a gig on a snow day! We had a massive snowball fight with the other bands in between sets and it was super wholesome.

Dream festival line-up?

EAB: Olivia Dean, Yussef Daves, The Beth’s, Back Seat Lovers, Lizzy McAlpine, Norah Jones.
