If you don’t know the name Lizzy Kula, then get to know her because Sri-Lankan/Chinese Malaysian-Kiwi Lizzy has hit the ground running with her debut single, i dreamt about you which is hitting all of the right notes in more ways than one and you are not ready for this heated drop.
The funked up i dreamt about you will send you into this hazy daze of delight, as Lizzy has clearly intended the track to be heard.
Lizzy has created this fun spirited, almost flirtatious mix of an endearing gravitational pull towards the 2000s with i dreamt about you, something a lot of us 90s kids will be sure to appreciate and thrive off of.
What makes i dreamt about you stand out from the current crowd of releases is that Lizzy has this outstanding, unique voice that pairs perfectly with the way that the song has been produced, mixed and been bought to life.

Lizzy has written the song with a lot of relatability which is always a pulling factor when you’re looking for new songs to add to the playlist. i dreamt about you has hooks that go deeper than the relationship that was lost and while she mentions she was worn out from the stranded ship she decided to jump off of, the creation of the song from the situation has made such a deep water impact that it stands on its own in a remarkable way.
I’m fishing for the next tune that Lizzy drops because her style is purely indulgent.
